About PGA

Polyglutamic acid (PGA) is a naturally occurring, biodegradable, non-toxic biopolymer produced through microbial fermentation. It is a water-soluble polypeptide composed of glutamic acid monomers. PGA exhibits excellent water-holding capacity, surpassing that of hyaluronic acid and other natural moisturizing factors. It is used in various applications, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food industries, primarily for its moisturizing, film-forming, and drug delivery properties.
